About Us
Freedom Farm Equestrian is a 20 +/- acre facility just minutes from State College and Penn State University. Our staff is second to none in providing top quality care for all of the horses stabled with us. We maintain a sustainable number of horses at our facility to insure they have access to beautiful pastures, clean stabling, and are overlooked daily for any ailments that may arise. Our lesson program has been developed to provide students of any age with the tools they will need to succeed wherever their equestrian career may take them. Whether you are boarding your horse with us or having just begun your riding career you can take pride in the fact that you are a part of an exeptional program!

Taylor Brinton - Trainer
Taylor has been riding for many years and has a number of horses and students whom she has produced throughout that time. After a succesful training and show career in hunter/jumpers she became interested in the western discipline and joined Penn State's Western Equestrian Team. Taylor takes great pride in seeing her students succeed and accomplish their riding goals, whether they enjoy showing each weekend or just trail riding on a nice day!

Liz Prough - Assistant Trainer
Liz is currently in State College pursuing a degree in Animal Science. She began riding in middle school and since moving to the area has excelled in her level of experience and ability! Liz started as one of Taylor's students, but with hard work and dedication quickly rose to assistant trainer. She can always be found riding, teaching, or caring for our horses!

James Petusky - Stable Superviser
James is the backbone behind Freedom Farms. If you spend time here you'll without a doubt see him cleaning up, feeding horses, or upgrading things throughout the farm. After 6 successful years in the Marine Corps James came to Penn State to study foresty. Although he is new to horses, he has taken to them very quickly and has been a huge asset to our entire facility; we're so lucky to have him here!
